A Vision Built on Purpose.A Legacy Built Together.
Great institutions begin with a bold vision. Lasting legacies are strengthened by unwavering partnership.
At the heart of Carolina Early Learners Institute is the visionary leadership of Dr. Jessica D. Respus , whose passion for education, innovation, and excellence continues to create extraordinary opportunities for the next generation.
Alongside her is her husband, James Respus , whose steadfast encouragement, unwavering support, and belief in her vision provide a strong personal foundation for the journey ahead.
Together, they believe that true success is not measured solely by what we build today, but by the lives we impact and the legacy we leave for generations to come.

“The future of education doesn't begin in high school, middle school, or even kindergarten. It begins with the foundation we intentionally build in our youngest learners.”

Ph.D. in Educational Leadership · Founder of two K–12 private schools
Dr. Jessica Respus is an educational entrepreneur, accomplished school founder, and visionary leader with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
As the founder of two K–12 private educational institutions, Cumberland County Christian School and Beyond the Spectrum Institute, she has dedicated her career to creating meaningful educational opportunities for children with diverse academic and developmental needs.
Her experience includes establishing and expanding private schools, developing innovative academic programs, leading instructional teams, and creating environments that emphasize academic excellence and individualized learning.
Recognizing that extraordinary educational outcomes begin with strong early foundations, she envisioned Carolina Early Learners Academy as the next evolution of her educational mission — an academy where premier early childhood education and individualized developmental support come together.
“The earliest years are not simply preparation for education. They are education—and they deserve exceptional leadership.”
